Nineteen of the Russian's 21 victories have been achieved on hardcourt
A comeback the Russian player won his initial title for over two years with success over opponent Moutet in the competition title decider.
The Russian, a ex- world number one, has had a difficult year, achieving just one win at the big events and undergoing a meltdown at the American major.
The player's inconsistency on the tennis tour - and struggles with his serving in specific - resulted in him falling of the elite rankings and eventually parting ways with former coach his previous coach.
Now collaborating with Johansson and Rohan Goetzke, the tennis star has gradually progressed in the past month - peaking in a closely contested competitive victory over opponent Corentin Moutet.
This represents his initial title following the 2023 Rome Masters and maiden on a hardcourt since spring of 2023.
Victory also signifies he has achieved 21 victories at twenty-one various competitions.
"It's the first time I have attended a competition with my both daughters simultaneously, so to secure a championship is particularly special," said tennis professional Medvedev.
"This victory is in honour of my younger daughter my daughter, because the maiden victory I achieved when my first daughter my daughter was born was for her."
Medvedev, the past champion, had lost his past six championship matches, featuring in that event in the past months.
Medvedev's retrieving strategy and regular outbursts on the playing surface had prompted observers to wonder if his skill to play at the highest level was over.
But the player has altered his approach in the past month, making an effort to approach the net and compete aggressively, supported by an enhanced serve.
The champion recovered from a break down in the initial set against the difficult Moutet, winning 4 of the concluding five points to gain the advantage.
Both players swapped breaks in the following set before Moutet, striving for his initial ATP Tour victory, took control to push for a final set.
The opponent saved 4 early chances in a close third set before the champion broke to 15 to close out the victory.
Suitably, the winner earned victory with a point at the net, with Moutet unable to manage a shot after two hours and 38 minutes.
